This anticipated USAID funded Health Workforce Improvement Program will continue to assist the Government of Ethiopia in establishing and providing effective, self-reliant healthcare services to its population by addressing its critical human resource challenge and ensuring that its workforce will be available, accessible, and capable of delivering quality healthcare services. The Program will focus on institutional and individual capacity building by improving the quality of pre-service education for priority clinical cadres, improve competency of clinical health care workers, build the skills of health human resource managers, and reduce gender disparities in the health workforce. It will also strengthen the enabling environment for health care workers through structural interventions to improve standards, generate timely data and evidence-based research results, and promote continued improvement.
URC is currently seeking a qualified Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Advisor to provide oversight on project design, activities monitoring, and impact evaluation of the anticipated Health Workforce Improvement Program.
